The great American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1987 by guitarist Jerry Cantrell, Alice in Chains is coming to downtown Raleigh. The veteran metal band, was nominated for a Grammy this year for "Check My Brain," in the category of best hard rock performance. The group earned fame in the 1990s with the multiplatinum albums such as "Facelift," "Dirt," "Jar of Flies" and "Alice in Chains." Among its radio hits are "No Excuses," "Heaven Beside You," "Over Now" and "Get Born Again."
