We know by now that many of you have heard about future changes to our programming. We want to assure you that this is not the end but rather a new beginning! For now and moving forward the staff that has brought you a wide variety of outstanding entertainment over the past ten years is working to combine the new downtown amphitheatre and the performing arts center into a more diverse, sophisticated and exciting offering.

While specific details are still being formulated the initial concept may involve you seeing a Broadway show under the stars at the new amphitheatre; the NC Symphony at Meymandi Concert Hall; drama and plays at Memorial Auditorium with the North Carolina Theatre and the Carolina Ballet at Fletcher. We understand recent reports may allude we are scaling back but want you to know great effort is being placed into understanding the kind of shows, concerts and productions you most want to see. Our intent is to bring you even bigger and better programming presented in one of the many theatre options available to us in downtown Raleigh.

Rest assured the future of entertainment is bright in the Capital City and with your continued support we look forward to some really great days ahead.
